Laurie has been training Hunters and Jumpers for over 35 years.
She has shown extensively on the west coast, beginning as a junior rider where she competed successfully in the Junior Hunter, Jumper and Equitation divisions.  She finished in the top five riders four consecutive years for Pacific Coast points as a junior rider.  She also won the Barbara Worth, AHSA and International medals qualifying for the finals for several consecutive years.  Laurie started out going to Pony Club camps in Vermont and now puts on horsemanship camps at Zephyr Farm in Washoe Valley Nevada.  She works with horses and riders from beginning through advanced levels and enjoys teaching and helping her riders to reach their own goals.  Riding is still her passion as she continues to train and show as well as taking her horses and students to many shows throughout California, Oregon and Nevada.  She has had five of her young riders qualify for the Onondarka medal finals and has traveled to the finals in Los Angeles.  Her students have enjoyed success in many areas, from year end awards in Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation to qualifying for medals and competing in the finals.
